- Escape Dammit
- Version 0.1
- Escape Dammit is a small INIT that fixes the laziness of
- many programmers.
- It gives you the ability to use the Escape key (or Command - . )
- in place of clicking the cancel button in almost all
- the dialog boxes and alerts you'll run across.
- Just drop Escape Dammit in your system folder, or your
- Extensions folder under System 7, and restart. You can then hit
- Escape or Command - . as an alias for Cancel.
- Version 0.2
- Escape Ñ Dammit is now a control panel, so you can configure it.
- It includes two new features, Cute Alerts and draggable dialogs.
- Cute Alerts is Keith's idea, and it flashes the note/stop/caution
- icon in alerts.
- Draggable Dialogs is an annoying feature that works with some dialogs.
- You can hold down on the command key, and then click and hold the
- mouse inside a dialgo or alert and drag it around your screen.
- Of course, no-one is prepared to handle this, so your screen will
- pretty much get trashed, though nothing should crash.
- Version 0.3
- Fixed a bug in CuteAlerts on Black and White machines.
- Version 0.4
- Added sounds to alerts.
